After connecting the two devices via USB, Ubuntu displays the following message in a popup: The device 'Stephens iPad' is locked. Enter the passcode on the device and click 'Try again'. A second later on the ipad a modal popup appears saying something like the following in English: Trust this computer? Trust / Don't trust After clicking 'Trust', a popup appears on Ubuntu: Unable to mount Stephens iPad DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) On the ipad, the modal popup reappears. Clicking 'Trust' again gives the same result as before.
