(10 mb/sec max) This is fixed by mounting folder with sshfs and I can transfer 3 gb file in a few seconds BUT on CPU single core on local and remote host has 100% CPU utilization and very high memory usage by gvfs. sshfs user@remote:/home/folder/ /home/folder fusermount -u ~/folder kills the 100% single core CPU and memory usage on local but on remote machine 100% CPU of single core of CPU and large amounts of memory still being utilized by gvfs. Local machine is Ubuntu 14.10 64 bit (Upgrade from 14.04) and remote is Ubuntu Server 14.10 64bit (Upgrade from 14.04 also) (I don't know which program being used under gvfs is causing the high memory and 100% single CPU core utilization.)
