Public bug reported:

When I rename in nautilus, the file name (not including extension name)
will be cleared automatically. It is counter-productive when I want do
make minor change to the file name, for example pluralizing.
Unfortunately this case is one big use case.

Auto clearing the filename do not help users much. If I want to clear
the file name I just do it with one keystroke.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
