Title:
Musical Fidelity V-Link sound stops working after some uptime

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I use Musical Fidelity V-Link USB Audio. Before 12.04 it has worked
without any problems. After a fresh install of 12.04 sound seemed to
work but after the system has been up for some time there is no audio
output, audio applications occasionally freeze and the audio
interfaces occasionaly dissapear from the output dialogue in the sound
settings in the system settings. The problem also occurs in a fresh
  install of 12.10.
