I think I understand the error. Sorry for my English. Ubuntu 18.04. After installing nvidia drivers, nouveau modules are added to the modprobe blacklist. The path /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch disappears. To turn off the nvidia graphics card, prime-select creates a symlink in /etc/systemd. It tries to write /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch, but there is no such path and nothing happens.
