Title:
C6380 keeps holding jobs for 5 more mins after battery ran out during
  job

Status in hplip package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: hplip

  I am using Karmic.

HPLIP was working correctly in Karmic. This is my fiancee's machine
and she thinks that it ran out of battery and isn't sure whether it
shut itself down, suspended, hibernated etc. Since that happened, she
thinks that the two jobs were deleted from the queue.

Now, when we print photos in the same way that was working before, it
says "Job held until [current time + 5 mins]". When you click
"release" or it gets to that time, it just refreshes the time to
  another 5 mins later.

I have tried turning the printer off and back on. I have removed
HPLIP (including configuration files) and reinstalled it. I deleted
the printer and set it back up again. I turned the computer off at the
wall and turned it back on. I'm running out of ideas, so any help
  would be appreciated.
