Because of the number of bugs Evince has, and the fact all my bug reports are getting closed without even being looked at, I switched to a different PDF viewer that is better supported, so I really can't tell whether this problem still exists. I have a strong suspicion that it does, though, and you can easily check that yourself by trying the attached PDF.

With most documents I open, evince correctly shows the toolbar/menubar/whatever you call it now, so I can access the menus and, for example, print the document. But with some PDFs (example attached), Evince starts without any menubar visible. Switching to fullscreen with F11 and then backs brings back the menu, but it dissapears as soon as I click anywhere in the document.
