Public bug reported: LibreOffice has default keyboard shortcuts defined. In Ubuntu 20.04 and LibreOffice 6.4, it seems like some of those keyboard shortcuts are missing. Specifically I was looking for Alt-X (for LibreOffice in general, not only writer).
Alt-X is defined by default in a LibreOffice source compile. These can be configured in LibreOffice tools -> customize - keyboard ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: libreoffice (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-29.33-generic 5.4.30 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-29-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Mon May 11 04:45:55 2020 InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-05-11 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release amd64 (20200423) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: libreoffice UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug focal ** Attachment added: "screenshot when Alt-X is configured" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1877970/+attachment/5369794/+files/LO%20default%20keyboard%20shortcut%20ALT-X.png ** Summary changed: - approximately no keyboard shortcuts defined in LibreOffice 6.4 + Alt-X keyboard shortcuts not defined in LibreOffice 6.4 ** Summary changed: - Alt-X keyboard shortcuts not defined in LibreOffice 6.4 + Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1877970 Title: Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4 Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: LibreOffice has default keyboard shortcuts defined.
