Dear all a few days ago I got the ZTE open, so I read all documents on the web about it. I flashed it with fastboot image from ZTE. But it is still version 1.0 with only english language.
I have two critical points: 1.) fastboot on ZTE open adds signature keys, so I have to wait until ZTE offers a new image.??? How can that be called open? 2). I want to flash the ZTE with the latest firmware image 1.1 in german language Mozilla is not offering any download location for a BUILD image. Building and Flashing is different. How can that be called open, if everyone has to build the OS from source? and with point 1 I even cannot install it? 3.) why is there no community, offering a method or image, how to update the ZTE Open? It seems the OS is pushed to the market, just at this early point of time, with a non-usable operating system. This generates the opposite of the open source idea customers have.. thanks for a hint, how to update the ZTE open with a 1.1 firmware, which is not comming from ZTE. Make a Firmware repository with all build versions.
