Thanks for raising the issue here, Ralph! To be honest,I doubt that Alcatel would tell users how to root devices. After all, it's not a developer device, and giving root access raises security issues. Without the device being rooted, however, I cannot migrate and backup OpenWapp messages. That renders the device useless for day-to-day use.
