Hi Cache, Thanks for your interest in Firefox Os. To contribute to pre installed apps, you need to build gaia first (assuming you want to contribute to gaia). Just go through MDN ( https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia) There you will find how to build gaia using mulet. Gaia codes are hosted on github.
Best Hi, dev-b2g, I installed Firefox OS simulator from WebIDE from Firefox browser. It looks really nice! I installed Firefox OS 2.2 runtime, and launched it. In order to get more understanding about the codes flow, I would like to track the codes, and try to fix some bugs if there is any. But, I don't know how to verify the codes I modified, which also means, I don't know how to launch my modified apps with this simulator. Based on the IDE, it looks like I can open hosted and package apps with manifest. But, preloaded apps just like dialer, don't have manifest file? Then, what can I do? Thank you.
