hm, but that not much more keying than calling setuptex -)
anyhow. i'm glad that it works
(btw, it would be interesting to know to what extend linux/osx set up
possible conflicting variables; when i made setuptex i had to take care
of everything that a sysadm had set up (for instance in a project
outside our company where the users has to deal with very old tex's
hanging around and not being updated or lagging two years behind, and
setuptex is then the only way to keep interference away)
