Hi all,

This is with particular reference to the instructions at

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia/Running_the_Gaia_codebase#Running_your_own_Gaia_build

Are these instructions still current? When you run the make command as listed
in step 4, it works fine, but it comes up with a message

Profile Ready: please run [b2g|firefox] -profile /Users/chris/git/gaia/profile

So, this doesn’t seem to work so well (should I just tell people to ignore this
instruction?); instead, it seems to be better to follow the instructions at

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia/Different_ways_to_run_Gaia#Using_Gaia_in_Simulator_via_WebIDE

or

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia/Different_ways_to_run_Gaia#Using_Gaia_in_Firefox_Mulet

But both seem to present me with a problem.

In the former case, when I get to the point of actually running the simulator
with the custom runtime, it gives me the message “A copy of B2G is already
open. Only one copy of B2G can be open at a time.”

In the latter case, when I get to the point of opening the profile in Mulet
using the Terminal command, it gives me the message “A copy of Firefox is
already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."

But I haven’t got other copies open! Any thoughts on this particular problem,
or on the instructions in general?

Best regards,
