Right now cells scanned shows the amount of scans instead of the amount of 
unique cells which is very irritating because wifi aps scanned shows the amount 
of unique wifi aps

Hopefully someone will fix it soon ;)

Btw. the number only shows the number of scans while your screen is on, if it 
was off the whole time the number is a lot smaller because the update of the 
screen only adds unique cells to the scanned value (at least that is my 
explanation for this behaviour).
