We (BareMetal.com) would really like it if you provided an EPP
interface. We have already developed an EPP code base, and it worked
_very_ well for our needs. It was easy to use, and allowed us to create
the best/simplest interface for our registration customers.
EPP is well designed for registry operations, and is very flexible: it
is easy to construct single requests that perform contact additions,
changes, and deletions. Single requests and batch requests differ only
in the amount of XML communicated.
We currently use the API, and the only code we use from the OpenSRS
client package is the XML_Client.pm, which we use to provide contact
validation prior to connecting to OpenSRS. Of course, this means we use
Perl. Our domain registration app is Linux-based.
