This is not a good idea. You do NOT want to create a nameserver record
for just DNS1.CA, it's bad form and when time comes to change the
IP address of DNS1.CA you will run into all kinds of problems. This
is because the glue records in the root servers for your nameserver will
not update when you make your update in the DNS1.CA dns and you will
either drive yourself crazy, maroon yourself, bounce all your email, cut
off all your users or all of the above.
Nameservers should not be named things like, example.com, www.example.com,
mail.example.com or any other hostname that will also likely get used
for something other than a nameserver.
Call them NS1.example.com or DNS1.example.com, NAMESERVER1.example.com
or just anything that will only be used for and by the nameservers.
The grief you save will be your own.
