Ever heard of a charge back. Or checks that bounced after
being deposited.

This is a legitimate question by David Croft concerning if
the RSP will be allowed constructive input as part of the
transfer process.

It would seem logical that RSP input would be part of the
process if OpenSRS is going to notify the RSP during the
transfer process.

However, I doubt that the RSP would be allowed to block the
transfer for any reason.

But being notified about transfers so that the domain name
can be removed from our records would be nice.

We are still receiving occasional deletion notices on
domains that have been transferred away from OpenSRS. We
still must check the status of each domain name before
sending renewal notices to our clients for this reason. We
also include a disclaimer with each renewal notice we sent
that the information is based on OpenSRS records which are
sometimes not up to date and the client is to disregard the
renewal notice if they have transferred the domain name to
another Registrar.
