Thought I would
For many developers
(like myself), it's hardly possible to use the OpenSRS client CGI pages in
our site without giving up the overall look and page
functionalities. So I was trying to find a way to use OpenSRS in ASP
pages. I've read through the mailing list about making OpenSRS work in ASP
pages, but could not find a solution that is still supported (or
work).
Finally, I found a clean
solution and I'm writing a COM object that I use in my ASP pages to do the
exact same thing as the Perl CGI pages. I'm currently converting all CGI
to ASP using VBScript and my component. This is really usefull, as we use a ASP
VBScript template for our site and could not use PerlScript in our ASP
pages.
If anyone else out
there is interested about this or to know how I'm doing it, let me
know.
