Well, you'll have to use the RWI for the remaining pre-registration period (things aren't being queued, they are processed realtime, and there are significant changes - no time to include in client code - considering this phase is a mere 12 days long)....   This is just not a phase that the registry is using anymore - you will have to wait until we publish the newer API for realtime registrations (real-time reg's start in a month).
