I would like to have more information about defensive registration service
for .com domain.
The fact is that 3 days ago I bought a ".com" domain, for my site (for the
Internet domain registering site I am), and today someone registered it
(and it was NOT ME). I buy a domain, and 3 days after someone registers
it.
The fact is this domain has been register here today, at Tucows registrar.
In fact, I imagine that the name was really good, and "someone here" liked
it. Or maybe it was the registrar (not Tucows) where I bought the domain,
who is in connection with a "black market".
Well, imagine how I fell, because it was a possible name for my company.
So who better than you, users of open-srs to inform me about this.�In
fact Tucows is the the list of my possible providers.
What are the extensions of "defensive registration", what does this
service, and who can use it ?
