Hi,

I know this discussion is somewhat [OT] but ... I am really curious now
... just WHO is this alleged registrar. Several people including myself
have asked but so far we have not seen a name. Is this an ICANN
accredited registrar, or a reseller of one "claiming to be a registrar" (a
common phenomenon unfortunately). If an ICANN accredited registrar, and
there was a 3 day delay in submitting your registration AFTER you hade
submitted and paid for it, this would probably be a serious breach of
ICANN accreditation. If not an ICANN acredited registrar, and a reseller
without an automaated connection directly to an ICANN registrar (no human
intervention required), you might consider disputing the credit card
charge for non-performance but there is no way to get the domain name.

I recall a situation where one of our clients received a loud, chest
thumping "legal notice" to surrender their domain name because this other
party had allegedly registered the same domain name through someone else
"first". Well too bad, that soemone else was not a registrar but some
slowcoach reseller in "manual mode" and our client got the domain name
first because we are fully automated (including credit card charging
online).

best regards
Mike Salim.
