Thanks to everyone for the input, I'm thinking djbdns is the way I want to go, one more question, say I have set up an ip set up for dns for ns1.mydomain.com ns2.mydomain.com
is there anything else I need to do to have my machine respond to dns queries? (besides installing+_configuring the software I mean) thanks, - Mark On Fri, 28 Mar 2003 13:21:58 -0800 (PST), [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >>Otherwise I guess I will have to set up bind on my machine, is >>there >>anything I need to know? > >I would suggest using djbdns over bind for lower overhead >requirements, >better security, and much easier automation.
