Yup, my mistake it was just a maintanance window.

But one thing I was concened about was that
"the emergency alert" tool did not work during
that maintanance window time.

http://www.opensrs.org/.emerg/

That emergency tool is working now,
but at the time I wrote the message,
it returned a "Internal Server Error" from the script
after I put in my OpenSRS username.
I do not know if the script failure due
to it possibly tied to
the same database as their reseller interface,
so they both are affected together.
If they are indeed tied together, Tucows
may want to think about the implications
behind that.

So if there was ever a real scenerio where
the opensrs servers were really down on a
Saturday, and the emergency notification
tool did not work also.
How would Tucow's administrator know?

Perhaps this is something to take into consideration
in the future just for safty.

Also, another idea would be to incorperate
the "maintanance window" message as output
from Tucows if any reseller did accidentally
tried to use the "emergency notification tool"
during that time.

Yes, that's probably all it was. After my original post it died, went flakey and came back up. :)

It is Sunday Morning at 0548z -- it looks like they finished their maintenance window before 0600z.
