As before, this recent SM only has access to pppoeconf thru the Menu: Internet> etc, (The Link thru the OS control center doesn't work.) However, this time the ppoeconf hangs up in " Access concentrator of your provider not responding....."
Also, I get no sound on my Dell Dimensions computer with onboard sound. This time alsaconf doesn't help nor fiddling with KMix. Looks like I will stay with ProMEPIS b04 as everything works fine with it in the 2.6 kernel.
