This is not a recent change, BMO has supported this for a long time and I
haven't seen anyone complaining about it. Only people who explicitly add
the group address to their bugzilla watch list will see these
notifications. Unless, of course, the watch address is also the address for
some mailing list, but that's up to the members of that mailing list to
work out. They could always use a different address for watching bugs

Maybe the webtools folks should set up a separate discussion list from the
announcement/incoming list as the (client) security group has done.
