I've read the bug previously, which news should I find there? Some suggestions were somewhat optimistic I think, but don't have the time to prove it otherwise. But if we are at it this bug already than I'd recommend re-reading the comments from Nelson.
Additionally, getting the list from Netcraft sounds to me most appealing if you want to do anything useful within reasonable time. The question is, if they'd give it to you...
