Hi Boris, Answer in line. > Does it work if the two files are in the same directory? Nope > Does it work if you set type="audio/x-mpeg" on the <object>? All the boxes are check for MIME types under MPEG, as well as the types under MP3. > Honestly, it could be some sort of weird timing issue with our > interaction with quicktime.... That's my best guess so far. Humm...it's just bizarre that it works when the same exact file is called through a localhost web server, and that the call from file:///C: was working in firefox 2 I've tested this on another computer and it seems to work with firefox 3! Do you get this problem on your computer too? If not, I guess it's just a fluky thing on my comp and I don't really need to worry about it for the majority of users. Thanks for trying to figure this out with me. Ben _______________________________________________ dev-security mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-security
