digitally sign it, and send it to the browser, Firefox should display it
properly.


I've been asking them for years to add the CA's name to the chrome. But they still don't. Thus totally mangling any concept of who is saying what to whom when why whether.

As far as the UI is concerned, CAs only exist for geeks. Mozilla says who is trusted to users. End of story.

Just by way of saying - don't hold your breath.
