If you are building your own copies of NSS on fedora, I strongly suggest testing them first with LD_LIBRARY_PATH. May key fedora subsystems now use NSS natively, including rpm. If you mess up your system NSS, you may have difficulty recovering. (Of course this is purely hypothetical, I don't know anyone that had to copy good NSS binaries onto a USB drive to recover his machine....;).
