Thanks for the pointer - the thread starting http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2007Dec/0084.html is all I can find related to fonts on that last from the last 9 months, but there are only Microsoft people posting in that, and its nothing like what you've mentioned. Still, that Adobe or anyone else would sue Mozilla seems like total nonsense FUD to me - are they going to sue Apple? The WebKit developers? I don't think so! :-) Because it is in the CSS2 spec, it wouldn't be a patent suit either... what would they sue for?
