Okay thanks for this pointer, I'll search more widely, but if you can
recall any other details that would narrow my search, I'd appreciate
it :-)

IANAL: A patent suit seems unclear because of the W3C's patent policy.
A contributory copyright infringement suit also seems unlikely because
the technology is general purpose, as it is for text and images, and
there are thousands of redistributable fonts.

What kind of suit do you think Mozilla might face?
