I think there is only RFC1779 http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1779.html
And no standard for choosing attributes in DNs.
It depends on what do you want to do with DNs ?
(( If you are creating new entries you have to create only RDN and this
could be some configurable subset of attributes of the new entry. For
example RDN of inetOrgPerson entry could be cn and mail .. "cn=Common
[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ))
