this bug is reported after 5.3.0 release. You can try the latest snapshot
(https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/activemq/apache-activemq/5.4-SNAPSHOT/)
or the fuse release (http://fusesource.com/products/enterprise-activemq/)
