Hi Folks! Hope you are well. As some of you may know, I <https://www.linkedin.com/in/siddharthanand/> co-chair a conference series known as QCon <https://qconlondon.com/>.
If you are unfamiliar with QCon, ours is a global family of practitioner-driven conferences with annual events in SF, NY, London, Munich, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Sao Paolo. QCon is a "for senior architect/developer by expert-practitioner" conference. Hence, we steer clear of vendor-pitches and marketing hype. Our talks are delivered by the people writing or intimately family with the code and systems they represent on stage. For example, QCon London is this March 2-6 and typically has about 1400 attendees. Our speakers are invited. All talks are 50 minutes in length, 5-10 minutes of which can be set aside for Q&A. We also own InfoQ, a technical journal with about 100K unique weekly visitors. So, talks at QCon also get broad coverage on InfoQ. I've also recently joined Data Council as a board member. Happy to have speakers from this community sharing their work more widely through these channels. Max and others have presented in the past. If interested in learning more, feel free to reach out here or on LinkedIn <https://www.linkedin.com/in/siddharthanand/>. Also, I will be in London March 2-6 and would be happy to meet up with Airflow-ers in the area. Warm Regards, Sid
