I was looking at new features and during testing I have identified new gantt chart view renders wrong in basic circumstances. Reported at https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/51667#issuecomment-3312807304. I'm looking how to fix this, but since this is a new feature, I think it will be great to introduce it nicely. This UI problem will be present in setups with simple DAGs, example DAGs or during experiments with tutorial DAGs or documentation example DAGs, which makes it a valid problem to fix before release. I have also raised another blocker (but less critical, since there's no huge community impact, at least looking at GitHub/Slack reports) and I'm trying to address it at https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/55894. But I'm not sure if it is not too late for this kind of change. >From my side -1 (non-binding). > The test procedure for PMC members is described in: > https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/dev/README_RELEASE_AIRFLOW.md#verify-the-release-candidate-by-pmc-members > > The test procedure for contributors and members of the community who would > like to test this RC is described in: > https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/dev/README_RELEASE_AIRFLOW.md#verify-the-release-candidate-by-contributors > > Please note that the version number excludes the 'rcX' string, so it's now > simply 3.1.0 for Airflow package and 1.1.0 for Task SDK.
