I will absolutely take part in that PEP! It is one that has been needed for a 
while now in the ecosystem. We have also been waiting for the PEP from you and 
Ofek to get approved as many of us have the same types of problems. And in 
light of the wheel-next project the ability to have better guarantees around 
known names is going to be needed even more as they have gone down the road of 
plugins installed implicitly which means arbitrary code execution risks.
