Hello Airflow contributor's community,

I guess, we all know that the Airflow Summit is coming in August/September
in Austin, Texas - this is the huge event that we organize every year - for
the whole community - users and contributors alike. If you have not yet
looked it up and have not submitted the CFP yet - you should absolutely
consider doing it - https://airflowsummit.org/ (
https://sessionize.com/airflow-summit-2026/) - the CFP ends 13 of March.

This will be - as every year - a fantastic place to meet and talk to many
Airflow Committers, Contributors and users - with Builders, Data & AI and
Data strategy tracks. There you will be able to meet with Thought leaders,
Airflow Builders and companies and people who use Airflow from all over the
world - and we would love to see a really diverse set of talks there.

However, this year there is another opportunity to meet just Airflow
contributors - and also get to see and meet the contributing community from
other Apache Software Foundation PMC members. contributors and ASF members.
This year, the annual ASF biggest conference "Community Over Code" is held
in Europe - namely in Glasgow, October 11-14:
https://communityovercode.org/. And CFP for Community Over Code is opened
till 20th of March: https://communityovercode.org/call-for-presentations/

And this year ... we have a separate track there - just for Airflow
Contributors. This will be a separately branded track (Airflow Contributor
Days) of Community Over Code where Airflow Contributors will be able to
talk about contributing to Airflow (so essentially similar to the Builder
track of Airflow Summit). And if you submit a talk related to Airflow
Contributions, you are absolutely welcome to also submit talks to
Community Over Code's Airflow Contributor Days.

The audience will also consist of other ASF project members, and It's a
great opportunity to show and share experiences of contributing to Airflow
and learning more about other projects and how ASF works, especially the
Community track is interesting. Also one Day before Community Over Code is
also an accompanying, dedicated event "Lakehouse Days"
https://communityovercode.org/lakehouse-day/ where you will be able to
meet Apache Icebergâ„¢, Apache Hudi, Apache Parquetâ„¢, Apache Gravitino,
Apache Polaris committers and contributors.

Several of the PMC members will assess the submissions and pick the talks,
and you are absolutely welcome to submit your talks (also if you have talks
about other ASF projects or community - you can submit your talks to other
tracks as well.

If you have other questions - I am super happy to answer any questions.

J.
