Hello here, Glad you asked :). This is an interesting question that might help us to work out future ways of stewards involvement.
I think those are mostly the questions for contributors - and - in our new governance framework - to the stewards, whether they have some plans and ideas there. Google is the biggest contributor to the Google provider (and steward according to our last process changes for providers). Therefore, that question concerns either their plans or someone deciding to contribute that change. We do not have "plans" for all 100 of our providers that can be captured "globally". But stewards (see https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/providers/PROVIDER_GOVERNANCE.rst) might want to share their plans somehow if they want We are yet to formalize who the stewards are and how they can be more / less involved in the communication - we still need to work that part out. In this case it's clear who the stewards are but I suggest the stewards simply communicate here. We also encourage the Google team to share updates here. It would be cool to see stewards' plans on the dev list, detailing their intentions in this respect. J.
