JiaLiangC opened a new pull request, #4235: URL: https://github.com/apache/ambari/pull/4235
JIRA: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-26663 ## What changes were proposed in this pull request? Add a Server-owned HTTP management pack lifecycle with durable plans and operations, scoped activation, immutable definition snapshots, and pinned task resources. Add deterministic mpack authoring and HTTP tooling, Agent resource delivery, and React import, service selection, deployment handoff, and generic service presentation. The branch is organized into topic commits for the Server/Agent contract, tooling, UI, and acceptance evidence. Rocky 8 aarch64 live checks covered the core lifecycle, Nginx, PostgreSQL recovery, official Kyuubi SQL, and browser import/recovery. The full acceptance matrix is not complete. In particular, empty-Server browser installation, publication crash and task-race cases, interrupted recovery, advanced HDFS parity, and database upgrade/offline restore remain unverified. Exact statuses and evidence are in docs/mpack/acceptance-results.md and docs/mpack/conclusion-2026-09-26.md. Ubuntu deployment is excluded from this scope. ## How was this patch tested? - `npm run build` in `ambari-web/latest`: passed (TypeScript and Vite); existing Sass deprecation and chunk-size warnings remain. - `npm test -- src/screens/Mpacks/Mpacks.test.tsx src/api/mpackApi.test.ts src/screens/Services/ServiceComponents.test.tsx src/screens/Monitoring/PrometheusChart.test.tsx src/screens/Hosts/HostAlertBadge.test.tsx --maxWorkers=6` in `ambari-web/latest`: 5 files and 32 tests passed. - The documented Rocky run and earlier Java, React, Agent, and Python checks are recorded with their exact results in `docs/mpack/acceptance-results.md` and `docs/mpack/conclusion-2026-09-26.md`; they were not rerun for this submission. - `git diff --check origin/trunk...HEAD` reports five trailing-whitespace lines in the imported LICENSE/NOTICE templates; those upstream legal texts were left unchanged.
