I got exactly the same problem as you have and was about to post about it..

where did you download your sdk?

Jim told me to use: ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/ MacOSX/

Is it maybe an issue with eclipse europe?

Greetings

Simon

You're not going to believe this, but that doesn't produce any output in the error log view. I've also tried setting the log level to info/ warning/error with no luck. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin several times, both restarting and not restarting Eclipse afterwards. Does the plugin produce logs
on disk somewhere?

No problem ;)

Hello. I'm trying to use the OOo SDK plugin for Eclipse on OS X 10.4.10
(Intel)
as per the instructions at
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/JavaEclipseTuto .
After the plugin is installed, I go to Window > Preferences >
OpenOffice.org
Plugin > SDK Configuration and attempt to add the path to my SDK. After
I've
navigated to the path and clicked "Choose", the window displays "Unexpected error handled" and the 'Ok' button is greyed out so I cannot proceed. I've removed spaces from the file path and I even tried removing the period in
OpenOffice.org. See screenshot at
http://pics.discosoup.net/OOoEclipseError.png

Really strange,I'm testing it on OS X 10.4.8 and it works (quite) like a charm. Could you turn the plugin log level to "DEBUG" and send me the logs ?

To turn the logs on, go to "Eclipse > Preferences > OpenOffice.org
Plugin" and change the log level. You will see it in the error log view.

Thanks for your feedback and help to improve.
