Adding a stream to the manifest is easy even without direct access to it. If a stream is inserted and the stream object has a MediaType or other supported properties the Storage implementation will write them for you. Can you explain what kind of stream attributes you want to store in the manifest? If some are missing now, maybe we can add them to the list of supported properties of the Storage implementation.
