I tried after I removed old files, but it still leaves the *.xcu file at "\user\registry\data\*" as well as the *.dat file at "\user\registry\cache\". When I re-installed the extension, those files did not get overwritten with new ones. I could delete those files manually, but I hope the extension deletes them by itself. Does it delete the schema and its data files normally?
