OK, this is probably slightly better.
I had noticed an apr testsuite failure a few days ago, which affected
openSUSE Factory (the development tree). The testsock test failed:
testsock : /bin/sh: line 2: 30059 Segmentation fault
On Fedora 11, I see a failure at the same place as well, which might
be related or not - slightly different error output from the build
system:
testsock : modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/
2.6.27.23-0.1-xen/modules.dep: No such file or directory
modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.27.23-0.1-xen/
modules.dep: No such file or directory
/bin/sh: line 2: 26817 Segmentation fault ./$prog
I added your patch and did a test build, and it fixed the build on
*both* platforms.
