I'm writing up instructions on how to set up a PDE Target Environment
so that we have greater control over dependencies (as opposed to just
building against whatever plugins are in the developers Eclipse
installation).

As part of this, we need to make an explicit choice about what Eclipse
version to support. Our last release required Eclipse 3.2. Albireo,
which is a new dependency for us, suggests 3.3 as a minimum version
although they say it might work with 3.2. Unless someones has a
strong requirement for Eclipse 3.2 support, my inclination is to make
Eclipse 3.3 the earliest supported version. Any objections?

Since we'll be supporting both Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4 and our RCP builds
bundle all necessary components, we could theoretically choose either
version to bundle with the RCP build. Anyone have a preference or
know of good reasons to choose one over the other? My inclination
would be to use Eclipse 3.4.

Tom
