This setting bothers me - can I remove it?
In the Menu, select Edit->Settings...
Select the Notation tab.
The first item is "Use only UML notation". This overrules the setting
just below, which is equal to the View->Notation menu item.
I do not see much use for this item - IIRC it was originally meant to be
able to fall back to UML for diagrams with mixed or other notations,
without altering the notation languages stored in all the Figs.
IMHO, the user will never easily understand how it works anyway.
