Hello all!
As you may remember, in this year's Google Summer of Code, I created a specific part of the /branches directory where students were allowed to commit. I think this worked well, allowing for easier merging and comparing. I would like to go further. We could either allow all Observers commit access to another part of the /branches directory or we could allow a selected number of persons i.e. a new "Contributor" role access to parts or the whole of the /branches directory. That would allow anyone that wants to submit a patch the option of working against the subversion repository while developing, sharing, and showcasing their work.

Good idea Linus. This also allows for users who want to have non-official customizations of ArgoUML to keep version history and easier merge of trunk changes into their branch.
