I don't know if it's a big task or not. I just thought it would be a very attractive thing in terms of usability.Sounds exactly like the Eclipse update mechanism that we use for updating the ArgoEclipse plugins. Why would we reinvent this particular wheel? Also, I tried very hard to make my description sound NOT like the ArgoEclipse plugin. Eclipse's update feature works, IMHO, like much of Eclipse: very useful functionally, but practically screaming for some simple UI tweaks that would score way higher on usability. So, if you're only thinking about this in terms of its function, then sure, it might be reinventing a wheel for the ArgoEclipse plugin. But such a feature does not exist in the standalone app, and I think a little attention towards usability can go a long way. Don't take this as "the exact representation" of my original description, but a good example to model after might be something like the following screenshot: http://photos11.flickr.com/11602054_c9a1d35b9f.jpg -- Tony | "Zearin" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] |
