Hello all!
There wheels are now in motion to upgrade Tigris to a CollabNet 5 system. I
hope it will be done before summer. I expect there will be some
quirks before we figure out how everything works in the new environment even
if the CollabNet staff works hard to reduce the amount of problems.
Once the upgrade is done, we will have access to a Wiki. I plan to use the
Wiki for developer information moving the contents of the Cookbook, the
developers' proposals and most of everything else on the Developer zone into
the Wiki. This will reduce the amount of tools involved in building and
maintaining that information and hopefully allow for quicker updates.
This does not affect any work with creating and developing a user community.
The User part of the web site (Tours, Downloads, User Manual, and Quick
Guide), will be unaffected by this.
