Hi, You don't need to become a committer or a PMC member to make further contributions. I (or other committers/PMC members) will review and merge your PRs in apache/arrow-erlang for a while.
You're not familiar with the Apache Way[1] yet, right? I (or other PMC members) will nominate you as a committer after you continue contributing apache/arrow-erlang (and/or other apache/arrow*) and are familiar with the Apache Way.
