I had open JDK 1.6 (java version “1.6.0_36”, OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.13.8) (rhel-1.13.8.1.el6_7-x86_64),OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode)))
I then switched to JDK 1.8 ( java version “1.8.0_40”,Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_40-b25) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.40-b25, mixed mode)) and reran “mvm clean install” , but got the same error messages. Thanks Herman.
